How long have you worked at VCH?
Less than a month.

Tell us what you do at VCH in one or two sentences:
I provide evidence review, analysis, and advice on environmental impacts to human health.  I work on a wide range of topics including air quality, oil spills, and healthy built environments.

What’s your favourite thing about your work?
My best memory so far is the very warm welcome that I got from my new colleagues here at VCH.

Which True North goal does your work contribute to the most?
Promote better health for our communities.

One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
I married my wife in Pemberton during the summer of the Pemberton wildfires. Luckily the smoke dispersed before our backyard wedding took place.

Who or what inspires you?
My parents, the next generation, and of course trees.

Most healthy habit:
Biking to work. It is healthy for the environment, healthy for our air quality, healthy for my pocket book, and healthy for me.

Favourite vacation spot:
Anything that involves camping in beautiful spots.  I love camping on the Oregon Coast and in the Canadian Rockies.
