For the past 16 years, VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation has been committed to the Mr. Lube Tournament for Life, in celebration of the great strides made to improving the outcomes for men diagnosed with prostate cancer.

On May 31, Her Honour, The Honourable Judith Guichon Lieutenant Governor of B.C. made a special visit to the Vancouver Prostate Centre (VPC)to tour one the largest prostate cancer-specific research and treatment centres in the world.

OK, she doesn’t hail from Sweden but Goldie Luong has just returned from the land of tasteful design and even tastier meatballs. Named an Emerging Health Leader in Canada, Goldie participated in a study tour of the Swedish health care system — and we asked her what she learned.
