Information Management / Information Technology Services (IMITS) has begun work on an overarching IM/IT strategy that aligns with and supports the strategic requirements of our customers within VCH, PHC, PHSA, and the Ministry of Health.

Your feedback

Whether you are a business or operational leader that is driving the transformation in care delivery, a clinician that is impacted by the changes, or a staff member that is interested in how IM/IT will support their work, we invite you to review this strategy draft and provide comment.

Over the next few weeks we are engaging leaders, physicians, clinicians, and staff on this strategy to solicit as much feedback as possible. We intend to concentrate our efforts on activities that will derive the most benefit to you, our patients, and IM/IT staff in all portfolios in the next three to five years.

In particular, we are interested in knowing your opinions on the following key questions:

• Has the IM/IT strategy hit the mark?
• Are there key pieces of information we have missed?
• Do you agree with the strategic framework and focus?
