The Kronier Family Education Fund is now offering scholarships/bursaries for post-secondary Certification/Diploma, Bachelor, Master or Doctorate degree for Leaders, Care Aides, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and Physicians within the Richmond Community of Care. Application deadline is March 31st.

It goes without saying that the desire to improve people’s lives through better health is the reason we choose to work in healthcare.

Smoke-Free Campus Committee members will begin regular walk-abouts in mid-February to advise visitors and staff about free resources to help them remain smoke-free while working at or visiting Richmond Hospital.

More than 100 local employers, collectively representing nearly 12,000 employees, are included in the effort to urge the province to fund construction of a new acute care tower sooner rather than later.

This team’s Safety Bag project improved infection control and patient safety, saved time and costs, and increased staff satisfaction.

After months of behind-the-scenes work, a life-sized mock-up of the new Alderbridge CHAC was opened for staff and physician tours. All feedback will be considered for inclusion into the final layout and design.

The new Alderbridge CHAC will simplify access to care, by creating a single, central location from which VCH Richmond operates a range of health care services aimed at adults and older adults.
