In recognition of May being National Physiotherapy Month the VCH Library team, in collaboration with Physiotherapy Practice Leader Nancy Cho, decided to highlight areas of physiotherapy practice that may not be well known to other healthcare professionals. Some physical therapy services and treatment modalities are really new while others are well established practices. The links below will lead you to collections of journal article citations from PubMed that showcase different ways physiotherapists contribute to the healthcare team.

Viewing the PubMed lists using Google Chrome or Internet Explorer 7 or 8 will enable optimal functionality. IE 6 is not recommended. Some of the articles are available full text online – just click on the VCH logo underneath the abstract/summary then follow the links.
