It’s time to complete your Mandatory Online Courses!
VCH Senior Executive recently approved a Mandatory Education policy. Effective immediately, ALL VCH employees are required to complete the following courses:
- Confidentiality Undertaking
- Infection Prevention and Control (if you are a clinical point of care employee or a physician)
- OR Hand Hygiene Basics (if you are an employee who does not work with patients)
In total, these two courses will take less than 30 minutes to complete. Infection Prevention and Control course has a quiz that you must pass (you can retake it if needed). The other two courses require you to read and acknowledge your understanding of the material.
You access these courses via the VCH Course Catalogue Registration System (CCRS). If you do not already have an account, you will be asked to create one before you continue on to the course. This is to ensure your successful completion of the courses can be recorded.
These courses must be completed as soon as possible. Check with your manager or supervisor for the best time for you to complete these courses. If you have successfully completed the Infection Control Course in 2012 or 2013 you do NOT have to retake it now – a reminder to retake will be emailed to you two years from the date you last completed it.
Managers will be sent reports indicating whether or not their staff have completed these courses.
