Brian Middlestead, refrigeration technician with Facilities Maintenance and Operations, passed away August 17th. Brian had been diagnosed with colon cancer on August 3rd. Brian joined VGH in July 1982 and became very well known throughout the VGH campus over his 30 years of employment. Many clinical staff knew Brian and would request him when entering work orders. Brian is survived by his wife Linda and his two sons Damond and Leelan. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at the Sheraton Guildford Hotel, 15269 – 104 Ave, Surrey, on Saturday September 1, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.
