Congratulations to the latest People First winners
“This tremendous act of creativity and generosity will help ease the transition of moving and will make the newly renovated Richmond Lions Manor (RLM) Bridgeport feel more like home for its 93 residents,” wrote a VCH staff member who nominated the Textile Arts Guild of Richmond for a People First award. The group spent one year, sewing 100 new, unique bed covers for residents at Richmond Lions Manor. “This incredible gesture by the Guild, as well as their ongoing support and expression of caring, exemplifies the act of putting ‘people first’ in our community.”
The arts guild is part of the latest group of People First Award recipients who were nominated by their peers for putting their patients and coworkers first. Below is the full list of winners who were recognized at the True North Forum on October 11, 2013.
