Occupational therapy cognitive expo day

On October 28, over 150 occupational therapists from across VCH and PHC attended the 2nd annual OT Cognitive Expo. OTs attended in person and also from 6 video link sites. Highlight s of the day included presentations on a variety of topics in cognitive intervention, displays of cognitive assessments, interventions and resources and the opportunity to ask questions of peer experts. Resources shared on the day have been posted on the intranet. Evaluations of the day were overwhelmingly positive. OTs stated that they found the day ‘extremely relevant’ and ‘valued the opportunity to discuss the various assessments with OTs who have used them’. Thanks to the working group of frontline OTs who made this happen.
