Two flu clinics set for Richmond Hospital

It’s flu season!  Protect patients, clients and residents by getting your flu shots.  It will protect you, your family and friends as well.

During the regular scheduled staff immunization clinics at Richmond Hospital (week of December 1st) there will be additional nurses available to provide influenza vaccination for staff who have not yet been able to get their flu shot and/or do not have access to a Peer Nurse Immunizer in their work area.

 Please note: staff waiting for these clinics will be required to wear a mask as of December 2nd and until they are immunized.

The province-wide “Influenza Control Program Policy” gives health care providers the option to get immunized against influenza or wear a procedure mask at work for the duration of flu season (starting December 2nd, 2013).
