A guaranteed win
To raise money for patient comforts, volunteer recognition and more, Volunteer Resources – Vancouver Acute and Residential Care is selling tickets to Vancouver Canucks home games. The cost of these tickets is lower than what TicketMaster charges. The next game that Volunteer Resources is selling tickets to will take place on January 23, at 7:00pm, against the Nashville Predators. The price is $86.00 per seat.
The manager of Volunteer Resources is confident that the Vancouver Canucks will win that game. How confident? “I guarantee a win,” Greg Terpenning said. “By guarantee, I mean that if a VCH employee buys a ticket to the January 23 game from me, and if the Canucks do not win that game, I will refund what the employee paid, if the employee puts that request in writing, and brings me the ticket stubs.” The Predators record away from home is a dismal 8 wins, 11 losses and three regulation ties. Vancouver’s record at home is a stellar 11 wins, six losses and 5 regulation ties. So, just looking at their records, the Canucks stand a better than average chance of winning the game… but guaranteed? “Guaranteed,” Terpenning reiterated.
