Trauma Symposium 2014
February 19, 2014 marked a full day of learning, sharing, reconnecting, networking and laughing for approximately 200 participants at this year’s Trauma Symposium. Participants included physicians, nurses, paramedics, allied health, administrators and residents from across VCH including Whistler and Sea to Sky, as well as, from Fraser Health and Northern Health Authorities.
What did the symposium cover?
Participants were exposed to a fast moving agenda of presentations by their colleagues and renowned international speakers on topics ranging from successful evidence-based trauma practices to cutting edge assessment and treatment options to the role of acute care in injury prevention and current debates in trauma care. A huge thank you goes out to the planning and organizing committee!
