Do you have questions for EFAP?
The Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) is excited to announce our new regular column, “dear efap,” coming soon to VCH News! Likened to the infamous and longstanding “Dear Abby” column, “dear efap” will provide thoughtful insight and a unique perspective on some of the everyday challenges that so many of us face. Catered specifically towards healthcare employees and their families, this column will seek to address readers’ questions using a blend of professional knowledge, social awareness and common sense.
The advice offered in this column is meant to be used as general guidance based on the facts provided. The opinions or views expressed should not be relied on as treatment or counselling services. If you do find yourself in need of counselling or support, please contact EFAP at 1-800-505-4929 or 604-872-4929, your family doctor, or another appropriately trained and qualified specialist.
