In 2010, LURE Salon’s co-owner, Dan Nguyen, got the news no wants to hear. He was diagnosed with leukemia at the height of his life and career. Like so many others diagnosed with blood cancer, Dan was relieved to learn that there is hope. Thanks to the dedicated medical team at the Hematology Research Clinical Trials Unit at VGH, patients like Dan – and those in your life – have access to the latest treatments available.

The struggle of patients and their families impacted by leukemia inspired Dan and LURE Salon to give back. Since 2011 their events have raised over $90,000 to help find a cure for this devastating disease. Your attendance at this year’s gala will help fight leukemia, getting people like Dan back on the dance floor. We hope to see you there!
