Barbara Receives Community Leadership Award

Congratulations to Barbara Goodwin, who received the Milan Ilich Award for Leadership at the recent Volunteer are Stars Gala in Richmond. The award honours an individual who has demonstrated exceptional leadership in the non-profit sector.

Barbara has been a volunteer since the age of 12. In the early 1960’s she helped rally the community to build Richmond Hospital,  she is a Founding and 23-year member of the Richmond Hospital/Healthcare Auxiliary, and she was instrumental in the creation of the Richmond Hospital Thrift Store. Barbara is also a member of the Richmond Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.
