Missing Patients and Bomb Threats

Do you know what to do if a missing patient or bomb threat are reported?

The Acute Care Emergency Preparedness Committee has developed new procedures for Code Yellow – Missing Patient, and Code Black – Bomb Threat or Suspicious Package at Richmond Hospital.

These plans have been inserted into your unit’s/department’s emergency response binders and posted on the Intranet Page for Richmond Hospital’s Plans and Code Procedures.

Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with these important procedures. You can also review this brief Info Sheet about the two Codes.
