Tobacco Addiction Withdrawal Management course Nov. 19-20

Registration open until October 31, 2014 for the Tobacco Addiction Withdrawal Management (TAWM) on Nov. 19 and 20.  This two-day course is focused on intensive smoking cessation interventions and offers practical hands-on tools and strategies to support best practices and a systematic approach to screening and treatment of tobacco dependence. Topics covered include physiology of tobacco dependence, pharmacotherapy, and behavioural therapy techniques. It is highly recommended that all participants complete the online course ‘From Theory to Practice’ (Cessation Module only) found here.

A letter of completion for TAWM Vancouver 2014 will be issued to participants who attend both days of TAWM and who have completed the ‘From Theory to Practice’ (Cessation Module – minimum grade of 70%) online course.
