We got ‘mugged’!

On Thursday October 16th the Eye Bank of BC got ‘Mugged’ by Rock 101. Teresa Haydamack, one of the Eye Bank’s Coordinators, had entered the radio station’s contest “Get Mugged by Willy” last summer and she won! Teresa said, ‘I never win anything!’ what a wonderful surprise!

Willy, Kim, Alece and James of the ‘Willy in the Morning’ show visited the Eye Bank and brought coffee, donuts and coffee mugs for the whole group. It was a great opportunity to meet some wonderful people, give them a tour, and talk about what the eye bank does for the province of BC. Willy and Kim took it one step further; the next day they mentioned the ‘Mugging’ of the Eye Bank on their radio show and told their listeners a bit about eye donation.
