Vancouver All-Staff Forum on October 29

Next Wednesday, October 29 (2:30 to 3:30 pm), we’re hosting VCH-Vancouver’s next All-Staff Forum — and a very special one at that. The forum’s theme is work-life balance and the agenda was developed with valuable input from our new ASF Ideas Lab of Vancouver Acute and Community staff (see photo caption above for a complete list of names).

Registration so far is brisk, so don’t delay to reserve your spot with CCRS.

Balancing Act: Live the life you want

Based at the VGH Paetzold Auditorium (webcast options available), this forum was developed with your feedback in mind. Almost half the forum will be devoted to open Q & A and the agenda will feature special guests:

  • Mary Ackenhusen, VCH President and CEO: “What I’ve learned (the hard way) about work-life balance.”
  • Stacy Sprague and Simone Riml, EFAP: “Taking Care of Me: Employee Workshops”

For those who can’t join us at VGH, there are six webcast options to choose from, including five satellite group locations:

  • George Pearson Centre – Special Events Room
  • GF Strong – Boardroom, Room 109, Main Floor
  • Personal workstation
  • Raven Song CHC – Large Group Room, 3rd Floor
  • UBC Hospital – McLeod Boardroom, Room MF463, Koerner Pavilion
  • Vancouver Community Admin. Offices – 520 W.6th Ave., Room 202

Wellness Fair

Following the forum, we invite you to continue the conversation. We’ll be available at the Wellness Fair (3:30 to 4:00 pm) afterwards, and we’ll gladly speak with you at that time.

You can also email us at any time, and we appreciate receiving your questions and suggestions in advance of the forum. Please email us at: onevancouver@vch.ca.

Don’t forget to register!

All VCH-Vancouver staff, physicians, LMC colleagues and other partners in care working in Vancouver are welcome. Register with CCRS today.
