VSO tickets available for concert December 1
The Volunteer Resources Department for VGH, UBCH, GF Strong and George Pearson Centre – in partnership with Artsway and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra – is proud to present all staff with the opportunity to attend the concert listed below for a minimum donation of $10 cash per ticket. This donation will be used to support Artsway and volunteer programs within our portfolio. Artsway is the presentation name of the Health Arts Society, which is dedicated to bringing professional performing arts to audiences in health care sites.
Leningrad: an epic symphony
Date and time: Monday, December 1, 2014 at 8:00 pm
Venue: Orpheum Theatre
Conductor/Performer: James Gaffigan, conductor, and Philippe Quint, violin
American conductor James Gaffigan is attracting attention worldwide for his musicianship and insight. He makes his long anticipated return to the VSO to conduct Shostakovich’s complex, epic Leningrad Symphony. Gifted violinist Philippe Quint makes his VSO debut performing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 4.

To take advantage of this fundraising program, please note:
- Bring exact cash; minimum donation is $10 cash per ticket.
- Purchase must be made in-person at our office and tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- You must accept the seats/section as offered.
- If you have a problem with your tickets, please contact Volunteer Resources. Do NOT call the VSO directly.
- We do not accept orders over the phone, by email or mail them to other sites.
