What’s the CST buzz all about at Lions Gate Hospital?

Lions Gate Hospital staff and physicians get a great chance to learn more about the upcoming Clinical & Systems Transformation (CST) Project – including a live demo of the Cerner technology we’ll be using – early next week at LGH.

Join LGH’s own Leanne Appleton and CST Project Team members as they provide us all with more details about what’s in store with CST for LGH on:

Monday, November 24, 2014 – Choose any one of the 30-minute sessions being held in the LGH Auditorium:

• 1:30 – 2 pm
• 2:15 – 2:45 pm
• 3 – 3:30 pm
• 3:45 – 4:15 pm

The sessions will include a live demo of a Cerner system as well as time for questions and a panel discussion.

Since the clinical information system VCH will use is still in development, this demonstration of the Cerner technology is a guide to help you visualize what our system will look like. The demo follows a patient who has presented to the Emergency Department with chest pain and shows how care providers will interact with the system and highlights the patient’s experience.
