Lower Mainland gastro conference goes over well
The Lions Gate Hospital endoscopy department hosted an exceptional Gastroenterology conference at the Pinnacle Hotel recently (Saturday Jan. 24, 2015), put on with funding by Health Shared Services BC (HSSBC) vendors.
Nurses from endoscopy departments across the Lower Mainland were invited, resulting in a total of 70 RNs on hand for presentations on topics including:
- GI emergencies
- therapeutic endoscopy interventions
- specialties in the endoscopy setting
- a physician panel presentation on GI complications with intriguing video footage
A big thank you to the Gastroenterology, anesthesiology, radiology and pathology physicians for presenting and supporting the event.
