St. Patrick’s Day will be celebrated at Lions Gate Hospital in grand style this year, as the LGH Gym will come alive with a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner & Dance on Friday, March 13.

The event marks the first time in many years that this type of event has been held at LGH and will bring a renewed sense of fun and community to the hospital. There will also be a number of exciting Silent Auction items, a 50/50 raffle and a cash bar.

Tickets are open to all and are only $40 for a delicious buffet dinner and the live music. Buy for yourself and your friends at the LGH Foundation office.

About the band

Persons of Interest can be seen all around Vancouver playing an eclectic blend of musical styles including rock, rockabilly, punk, R&B, country, pop and Celtic for pubs, markets, weddings and more.

But the St. Patrick’s season is always their favorite! It’s at this time of the year that they can concentrate on traditional and contemporary Irish songs which is the specialty of their singer, VCH’s own Anne Moonan Woods who was born and raised in Belfast.

The five-piece band will be playing upbeat versions of all your favorites including:

  • Black Velvet Band
  • Whiskey in the Jar
  • Fisherman Blues
  • Wild Rover
  • Fields of Athenry
  • Into the Mystic
  • Tell Me Ma
  • Wild Mountain Thyme
  • and many more.

Come out for a mighty craic!!

Person of Interest will be rocking the LGH Gym as the highlight of the St. Patrick's Day Dinner & Dance being put on by the LGH Foundation on Friday, March 13.
