Squamish General staff have fun and scare up a generous donation to local Food Bank

The Best Overall pumpkin in Squamish General’s contest this year was enough to make your skin crawl.

Squamish General Hospital had a very successful departmental pumpkin carving contest on Friday October 26th.  Departments had to donate $10 to enter, plus donate 1 non-perishable food item to vote.  13 departments participated and we raised $160 plus 3 overflowing boxes of food for the Food Bank.  Coastal Manager Cindy Sellers presented the donations to Food Bank President Prentice Geary, who works for VCH Mental Health & Addictions.
