A new website for medical staff aims to centralize and tailor information for physicians, midwives, nurse practitioners and dentists working at VCH. The site includes sections for:

• News and events
• Information about working at VCH, including the reappointment process, and provincial projects, such as privileging / credentialing and practice enhancement
• Job postings, feeding from HealthMatch BC
• Professional development opportunities
• Governance, including overviews and contacts for medical advisory committees

Submit events and news

Staff are encouraged to submit events and news for medical staff to help keep the site useful and relevant.

The Medical Staff site is accessible from work or home, is best viewed using a modern browser – such as Google Chrome – and is mobile friendly. It can also be accessed from the “Staff” section at the bottom on www.vch.ca and from the bottom of the VCH Connect home page. The site was built using VCH’s microsite template on WordPress, under the leadership of the Executive Medical Group.
