Dunk tank and free BBQ lunch on tap for LGH staff, physicians and volunteers next week
Last-minute arrangements have been finalized for the Lions Gate Hospital Staff, Physician and Volunteer BBQ taking place next week:
Wednesday, July 15
11 am – 1 pm
LGH upper parking lot (outside the Gymnasium)
Along with a free lunch for each staff member, physician or volunteer – ID badges required please – attendees will be invited to join in a number of activities such as:
Zumba – there will be an interactive Zumba demonstration for those of us with or without rhythm.
50/50 draw & giveaways – there will be tables with special deals and giveaways for staff from sponsors and local businesses that are supportive of the LGH Foundation.
Dunk your Boss – at only $10 for 3 balls, this event will attract a lot of people wanting to provide a 100% proceeds to Lions Gate Hospital Foundation. Help us to improve patient care at OUR hospital! Confirmed dunkees – who have also agreed to complete a shift as a celebrity chef – include:

Similar to the grand opening event for the Wilingdon Creek Village facility in Powell River in early June, Mike and other celebrity chefs will be BBQing burgers for those people attending the event.
