Transition to Crothall from Aramark begins Tuesday for EVS services
On Tuesday and Wednesday, September 8 and 9, Crothall Healthcare, a division of Compass Canada, will assume full responsibility for Environmental Services (EVS) at Richmond Hospital, Minoru Residence, Richmond Lions Manor, and Richmond Bridge House.
EVS Services was formerly known as Housekeeping.
The service-provider transition brings with it a new way to request EVS services in both residential and acute care.
- In residential care – Please communicate directly with your EVS housekeepers for all normal duties and routines. There is no longer any need to contact a Call Centre for this work. If your EVS housekeeper is not close by, then please use the Call Centre to request EVS services. A new Call Centre number will be distributed shortly. Please continue to use the existing Call Centre number until further notice.
- In acute care – All discharges or transfers must be entered into the PCIS system in a timely manner to trigger the dispatch of an EVS housekeeper. For all other normal housekeeping duties, please communicate directly with your EVS housekeeper or use the Call Centre if they are not close by. Again, please continue to use the existing Call Centre number until further notice.
As with all transitions, there may be some hiccups along the way. Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience through the process.
