As the year wraps up, it is time to once again celebrate our friends and colleagues whose efforts and inspiration help to grow the active-transportation movement! Nominations are now being accepted under four categories; Superhero, Long-time, Pied Piper and Quiet Achiever Commuter of the Year.

2014 was the Year of the Bike as all four Health Authorities awarded the Commuter of the Year to a cyclist. (Which is fine, by the way! Yet walkers, transit users and carpoolers are encouraged to challenge the lofty bike!)

Nominate a coworker

Who in your team, clinic or office deserves recognition for their stellar – and green – efforts to commute to work in a clean or active way? Please take a moment to put their name, and story, forward for recognition.

Nominations will be accepted until the end of Tuesday, November 3rd, 2015. To nominate someone (including yourself) complete the nomination form and be sure to add a letter or email to expand on the last question.
