Mandy Lowery new Leukemia BMT & Hematology patient services manager

It is with great pleasure that I announce Mandy Lowery as the successful candidate for the role of patient services manager, Leukemia Bone Marrow Transplant and Hematology, beginning December 14, 2015.

Mandy began her nursing career in Middlesbrough, UK, working in various nursing roles before moving to a supervisory position in 2006. In 2008, Mandy immigrated to Canada and began working at Providence Health Care (PHC).  At PHC she assumed progressively more challenging leadership roles as a Clinical Nurse Leader in Medicine and Access and Flow.

Mandy also won a quality and safety award for her leadership related to the General Practitioner notification work across PHC. Complimenting her significant clinical and leadership experience, Mandy completed a Master of Arts in Leadership – Health – from Royal Roads University earlier this year. Mandy is a strong leader, guided by her high standards and focus on quality. Please join me in welcoming Mandy to VCH.
