Change in VGH code blue calling system

The internal code blue calling system on the VGH Intensive Care Unit (ICU) has been turned off due to system malfunctioning. Until further notice, the VGH switchboard will announce ICU code blue calls across the hospital-wide intercom system.

Please note that if you’re an anesthesiologist or a member of the CCU code team, you are not required to respond to a code blue in the ICU unless specified by the call.
