Last week Stephanie DeVico, from Workability, and Rebecca Mair, a Tobacco Enforcement Officer from Health Protection, joined our rather exclusive club of 50/50 Won! Vancouver winners!

Stephanie won $5,600 from our January 8 pay period draw, and Rebecca won $6,058 from our January 22 pay period draw. As you can see the pot grows as more and more people sign up for tickets!

So what are they going to do with the cash? Rebecca and Stephanie fill you in!

Rebecca:

How did I feel?

Thankfully I didn’t answer the call because when I heard the voicemail I completely lost it. It was the very last thing I ever imagined would happen to me. I literally just cried for a good 10 minutes. I also called my mom and told her the big news. I was in shock for a good half hour at least.

What I’m going to spend it on?

I am going to put most of it towards my student loan. My girlfriend and I are thinking of saving some of it and going on a California road trip in the summer, something we have always wanted to do.

Stephanie:

How did I feel?

It was a really nice surprise when I got the call on Friday.

What I’m going to spend it on?

I plan on having my winnings go towards my savings to buy a car.

The next 50/50 Staff Lottery is February 26.
