Bike, walk, transit, carpool – Let’s make it better at Lions Gate Hospital
Or, rather, join in the discussion on how we can make it better to bike, walk, take transit or carpool to Lions Gate Hospital and enjoy a free lunch. Vancouver Coastal Health will be facilitating a Sustainable Transportation Working Group at LGH and we are looking for interested individuals to participate.
This group will meet monthly over lunch and discuss any and all topics relating to how we can make sustainable forms of transportation safer, more comfortable and more convenient for LGH staff.
The first meeting is Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Seminar Room C.
In addition to the issues brought to the table, our first order of business will be a Spring Clean-Up of the bike cage. RSVP by Friday, February 12 so we can plan the event.
Sessions will be hosted by Arthur Orsini, Active Transportation Facilitator. Please share any questions, comments or suggestions below.

Suggestions: If we can ask Coast Mountain Bus 1.For dayshift at 0730-1930, early skytrain weekend trips from Lougheed town center station to Lions Gate Hospital so we can come in on time via bus or skytrain.
2. Bus stop by Lions Gate Hospital trip from Phibbs Exchange. We used to have a bus stop there but now no more.
3. More frequent bus trips, not every 30 minutes after 3 bus connections all the way from North Burnaby to North Vancouver. If we miss the bus by 1 minute or few seconds we have to wait for another 30 minutes.
Sorry I can’t attend Feb 15th meeting. I came from 12 hour last night shift. Thanks for asking any comments or suggestions.
