“It has been a great experience from beginning to end”
Thank you to everyone who made this a truly patient-centered care experience…
“…My care at Richmond Emergency Department was exemplary on the many occasions I had to pay them a visit. This may have been at 6 a.m., 5 p.m. or midnight. The triage folk, the nurses etc all were competent and pleasant. While I had experienced the insertion of my first catheter with Dr. Griffith, I was anxious when I discovered that a nurse was about to replace it with one of greater girth, not my favourite idea at the time. This was repeated several times over a few weeks and in every case it was done with care, consideration and expertise….
The whole process from onset of symptoms to successful surgery (at UBS Hospital) was a great experience. Dr. Rapaport’s care and communication, the staff at Richmond Emergency were exemplary. Dr. Griffith was most competent and gracious in my repeated encounters.
I recently retired after 52 years in the health care system, and wish I had been a patient in the system at an earlier time, as my personal experience would have made me a more empathetic health professional than I was. I thank you for your kindness and your professional willingness to go beyond what you reasonably might have done.
People who have a beef seem quick to voice their viewpoint, the people who are happy tend to be silent. I write this as I think this natural human tendency is unfortunate. It has been a great experience from beginning to end.
Thank you.”
