Mark your calendar for Thursday, January 17, 2013. That’s when the new True North Forum will be launched, replacing the former Strategic Implementation Forum (SIF).
Thursday, January 17, 2013
1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Paetzold Auditorium at VGH and via Webcast
Yes, SIF is now a thing of the past. We have changed the name, time, format and audience.
The new True North Forum reflects the VCH True North goals that all of us – senior leaders, directors, managers, physicians and direct-care staff – have in common. We might be working on different projects and using different strategies, but these goals are the desired end result.
Shorter and more interactive
The previous Forum was 3 hours long on a Monday morning; but after receiving your feedback we’re going to try moving it to an afternoon session, on a different day and shorten it to 2 hours. The presentations will also be shorter, punchier, and focused on key messages and themes. We’ll have question and answer panels to hopefully generate more discussion and better engage participants, both in person and on webcast.
It’s for everyone
Most importantly, we’ve expanded the Forum to include all VCH staff. We are all unified by the True North goals, and this Forum is meaningful for everyone. You are invited to join the new Forum, to learn and share.
How to participate
Please register for the True North Forum on CCRS by Tuesday, January 8th. Seating is limited at the Paetzold Auditorium, but a webcast link will also be available. The agenda will be circulated well in advance of the date to give you an idea what to expect.
The True North Forum is a place for all staff to share their thoughts and to learn about activities across the organization. See you in person or on the webcast on January 17th.
