Help us honour all the VCH employees, physicians, volunteers and students who have received the Queen’s Diamond 
Jubilee Volunteering Award 2012. If you or someone you know at VCH has or will be receiving the award, let VCH News know. At least five names have come forward so far, but it would be great if we could recognize all the recipients in VCH News at the end of March when all the awards have been given.
About the award
The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Volunteering Award 2012, which is overseen by the Cabinet Office on behalf of Buckingham Palace, was announced in February 2012 to commemorate Her Majesty’s 60-year reign. This Award is to be given to (a) national organisations not previously eligible for The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and (b) Olympic and Paralympic games volunteering organisations.
