Engagement of clients and families at Joseph and Rosalie Segal and Family Health Centre
Building a new healthcare facility from the ground up is an amazing opportunity to engage with patients and family members on a variety of things including design, clinical services, and person centered care. From the beginning, the project team overseeing the design and functional operations of the new Joseph & Rosalie Segal & Family Health Centre aimed to involve members of VCH’s Community Engagement Advisory Network (CEAN).
Two clients and two family members were recruited to the Segal Stakeholder Committee to provide their input and support the inclusion of patient and family voice in the look, feel and flow of the building. Visit the CEAN website to read our latest post on how client and family voice supported the development of the new health centre.
