The month of October is your opportunity to enroll in the Canada Savings Bond Payroll Savings Program (CSB), or make changes to your plan if already enrolled. Enrollment or changes can be made at www.csb.gc.ca between October 1 and November 1, and will take effect on the December 14th pay advice.
Making Changes to your Plan
Use the CSB web site to access your account and make any necessary changes.
If you are currently enrolled in the CSB program and do not want to make any changes, do nothing! Your current deductions will continue unchanged.
Enrolling in the CSB Payroll Savings Program
Signing up for the CSB Payroll Savings Program is easy. Minimum deductions are $4 per pay period. To enroll, you will need two key pieces of information:
- VCH employer code – 36980 (31070 for Bella Bella and Bella Coola)
- Your employee ID, found on your pay advice
Note to employees of Lower Mainland Consolidation departments: The employer code is related to the Health Authority that you currently receive your pay advice from.
Once you enter the site it will walk you through the steps needed to set up your account and purchase new CSBs.
