Readership keeps growing: 2012 VCH News survey results

Well, 2012 was another record year for VCH News. The statistics show that you read about 32% more stories in 2012 than in 2011, continuing the upward trend from 2010. The increased activity shows in the 2012 reader survey results.

Survey says!
Thanks to the 637 of you who completed the 2012 reader survey. You told us that you read more editions of VCH News in 2012 (+5%) and that you clicked the headlines more often to read the full stories (+6%). More of you said you submitted articles in 2012 (+3%), and more of you said you read the news from your VCH webmail or mobile device (+4%). You rated your interest in updates, announcements, staff recognition and events about the same as last year. Your interest in articles by VCH experts, employee profiles, contests, discounts and fun stuff increased slightly.

What changed?
VCH News was re-invented in 2012, making it accessible from anywhere on the Internet and mobile friendly. A commenting feature was added for the Spotlight stories, along with online submission forms for both news and events.
