GF Strong (GFS), UBC Hospital (UBCH) and the Diamond Health Care Centre (DHCC) staff and physicians are challenging their VGH colleagues to see who can score the highest response rate on the Gallup survey.
In its first year, VGH had a response rate of 53 per cent while UBCH was close with 50 per cent , DHCC had an impressive 75 per cent and GFS had 39 per cent.
This year, GFS, UBCH and DHCC staff and physicians will make sure their voices are heard and are striving for a 100 per-cent response rate. If GFS can achieve 100 per cent on accreditation, we can definitely achieve 100 per cent on the People First Survey

- Discuss survey at department meetings
- Challenge department to get 100 per-cent completion rate
- Face-to-face encouragement to participate

- Hold a celebration after everyone has taken the survey
