Read the latest news about Home is Best
Based on current research, we know that as long as the right supports are in place, a person’s home is the best place for them to recuperate from illness, manage chronic conditions or live out their final days. As highlighted in a recent bulletin for Home and Community Care staff, we call this approach to care and service delivery “Home is Best.”
A number of initiatives in each Community of Care fall under the Home is Best umbrella. These initiatives encourage us to be more flexible and look for ways to safely support and provide care for people in their homes. It’s about improving the quality of life for our clients.
