Dedicated DTES website launches with focus on next generation of health services
This fall, dtes.vch.ca is launching as a part the collective commitment of VCH and partner agencies to improve communication and work in a more integrated, collaborative way. To educate both staff and clients the website features an interactive map and listing of all VCH and VCH partner services in the area, photographs, stories and community events. It also houses resources, publications and news about the the Second Generation Health Strategy, and will be home to the Call for Innovation process this fall/winter. As we are currently developing the next generation of health services for Vancouver’s DTES neighbourhood, this dedicated website is a part of a system to support a healthier community.
About the Second Generation Health Strategy
Vancouver Coastal Health is taking stock of its progress addressing key health issues over the past decade and a half, and the challenges keeping pace with change given the dense and complex array of services in the DTES. The intent of this process is to initiate a new phase of health service improvement, starting with improving partnerships and together identifying opportunities.
