Volunteer (and have fun!) with My Health My Community

Interested in helping the My Health My Community project reach their goal of surveying 18,000 VCH residents (we’re 67% of the way there!)?

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to dedicate a few hours of their own time to engage with our communities, have some fun with a great team and gain some new experience!  A brief orientation will be provided.

The My Health My Community Team will be on-site at events across VCH between now and the end of June and we could use your help promoting the survey (handing out promotional cards) and increasing participation (registering participants on tablet devices). Shifts take place weekdays and weekends. And you can make it more fun by bringing a friend or family member with you (so long as they are 18 years old and up).

Upcoming opportunities include the Vancouver Vaisakhi Parade, the Vancouver Sun Run Fair, Richmond Move for Health Festival and a variety of other community events.

We are hoping to recruit a diverse group of volunteers.  Ability to speak a second language is an asset!  If you’re interested or would like more information please contact Maritia Gully – maritia.gully@vch.ca
