Mary Pack physiotherapist wins distinguished clinican award

Physiotherapist Marie Westby

The Mary Pack Arthritis Program is celebrating the latest achievement by one of its team members. Marie Westby, a physiotherapist working at the Vancouver site, has just been awarded the “Distinguished Clinician Award” for 2014, by the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals (ARHP), a division of the American College of Rheumatology. This is an impressive achievement as the ARHP has a large and very engaged membership.

The ARHP Distinguished Clinician Award (formerly known as Master Clinician Award) is presented to an ARHP member who is engaged in clinical practice and demonstrates outstanding clinical expertise in arthritis and the rheumatic diseases

Marie is the PT Teaching Supervisor for the Mary Pack Arthritis Programs and has been part of the team for over 20 years. Her work has positively impacted many members of the arthritis community including, patients, health professionals and students alike. In addition to her work here, she is currently completing her Post Doctorate Fellowship via the School of Public Health, University of Alberta.
