What patient safety mishaps will you spot in Mishap Mansion? Tweet or email us the mishaps you find and be eligible for $200 in prizes!

Vancouver Coastal Health along with BC’s other health authorities are using Canadian Patient Safety Week (October 27-31, 2014) and Halloween as a fun way to talk about a serious subject: patient safety mishaps.

You’re invited to visit the Mishap Mansion. Once there you can enter care rooms that are full of patient safety mishaps. Some are intentionally over-the-top (like giant, plastic rats). But some are mishaps that could really be seen in the rooms, despite our best efforts to create safe environments for our patients and ourselves.

How to play

1. Visit the Mishap Mansion.
2. Click on a room and spot as many patient safety mishaps as you can.
3. Use the buttons on the Mishap Mansion page to tweet or email us the mishaps you saw (be sure to include @vchhealthcare and #MishapMansion in your tweet)

So go ahead and let us know the mishaps you spot. We promise nothing will pop out after a few seconds and scare you!
