Requesting IT Services just got easier
The new IMITS Service Catalogue will be your new one-stop-shop for all IT service requests. And it was designed with you in mind:
• No more confusion about where to go to place your order. You’ll see a single button on a redesigned “Computers, Phones & Technology” landing page that takes you directly into the Service Catalogue. You won’t need to figure out whether to go to IMITS or HSSBC to make your request.
• User-friendly visual design. It’s much easier to find the service(s) you’re looking for. There’s even a new search functionality!
• You’ll know a lot more about the services you need. Service descriptions include what it is, whether it comes from IMITS or HSSBC, how it’s supported, expected turnaround times, and how to escalate service issues.
• You won’t have to sort through services or systems that don’t apply to you. The Service Catalogue can filter requests by health organization (VCH, PHC, or PHSA).
• Requesting multiple services is a snap. Simply select all the services you need and the application will direct you to the appropriate online forms to fulfill your request.
• IMITS Client Services is available to help. If you want to lodge a service complaint, request an escalation, or make a general inquiry about a service you can’t find, open the “I Want Customer Service” section in the catalogue.
You will find some services or forms are not yet online—we’re continuing to work on that as well as refining the information that’s included on the site. We’re also building new functionality that will make the IMITS Service Catalogue even more useful, including the ability to track your requests as well as “bundle” services/forms by function (i.e. onboarding a new employee) or by site. Expect these new features in the coming weeks.
