Three weeks ago VCH had the second lowest staff vaccination rate among all of the B.C. health authorities but the latest stats show we now have the highest rate (78% as of December 8) and more self-reports are being submitted by the minute!
How are we doing compared to other health authorities?
As of Friday, December 5, 2014:
- Vancouver Coastal Health: 76.5%
- Fraser Health: 76%
- Providence Health: 74%
- Interior Health: 73.8%
- Northern Health: 70.4%
- Vancouver Island Health: 66%
- First Nations Health: 59%
- PHSA: 57%

Masks are available at nursing stations, outpatient reception desks and/or the main entrances of our facilities.
Did you report your flu shot?
Everyone must self-report their flu shot this year. If you are VCH staff, VCH salaried physician or a resident visit https://flu.vch.ca. It takes less than one minute to complete.
If you are VCH medical staff, such as a doctor, dentist, midwife or nurse practitioner, fellow or other regulated health professionals (scientific & research staff, podiatrists, psychologists, denturists, etc.) you can self-report through one of the following methods:
