Clean Shots
2014 Clean Shots Winners: Hand Hygiene Angels above Alda Lo, Grace Khoo, Brittany Hemrich from UBC Hospital who take home the Clean Shots grand prize for most creative

Hit us with your clean shots… this time it’s nation-wide

Last year, BC’s health authorities, PICNet, and the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council launched Clean Shots, a contest that asked for your best hand hygiene-related photos. The contest ended up receiving over 1000 photos, many of which blew us away with their creativity. Check out some of our favourites here.

Well, the Canadian Patient Safety Institute liked Clean Shots so much that it asked to open the contest up to the rest of Canada. Needless to say, Clean Shots is back, bigger and better.

Clean Shots runs from today until World Hand Hygiene Day on May 5!

It’s all about spreading the word about the easiest thing we can all do to protect our patients, colleagues and ourselves.

Join your colleagues from across Canada in this fun contest that raises awareness about the importance of hand hygiene.

3 simple steps to enter

Take your best hand hygiene-related photo. Creativity counts. Team up with your colleagues!

Step 2 – Submit Your Clean Shot

If you have any problems submitting your photos, we can submit them for you. Just email us at handhygiene@vch.ca.  Make sure to include the full name of everyone in the photo and where you work.
