What’s your role in conflict?
Conflict is a part of our life experience and inevitable in all of our important relationships. We experience various forms of conflict with our partners, family, friends and coworkers whenever our needs, concerns and goals seem to be incompatible with others. Conflict can be an opportunity for new solutions, creativity and is even necessary to help us move past old patterns, behaviours and habits that no longer serve us. Despite this, most of us will do anything to avoid, deny, or remove ourselves from conflict at all costs. With the right tools and lots of practice, we can increase our ability to handle conflict more immediately and in turn our self-confidence and self-esteem also increase.
