Are you passionate about providing outstanding quality care? Have you been looking for opportunities for education and innovation to support you to provide the best care possible? If so, then keep reading because a new opportunity has arrived!
Last fall, the VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation announced a generous donation from Robert and Greta Ho to create the Robert H. N. Ho Enhancing Patient Care Program. The program’s vision is to support education and professional development for nurses and allied health professionals with a view of improving patient outcomes and fostering a culture of quality, learning and commitment across VCH.
Robert and Greta Ho highly regard and respect the work nurses and allied health professionals do at VCH, and recognize they are vital to successful health outcomes. Their gift of 2.5 million dollars over five years is a meaningful investment in lifelong learning for nurses and allied health professionals.
The program includes:
- Regional Bursary and Scholarship program
- Quality Academy sponsorship
- Support for front-line staff to join the VCH Research Challenge
