Survey: Move more and sit less
Getting active is an important and effective strategy for preventing and managing chronic disease. Many people want to increase their activity levels but they are often put off by finding and filtering through the overwhelming amount of advice and information available in an online world. So what can be done to help people find online resources that are accurate and easy to use? A team of patients, clinicians and researchers from across BC are working on a project to address this need. They are developing a database of evidence informed and easy to use resources to facilitate physical activity and reduce sedentary behaviour in persons with chronic disease.
Survey
As part of this project the “Physical Activity Support Kit Initiative (PASKI): Move More. Sit Less team” invites you to participate in this important survey to inform the development of this database of resources to support increasing physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviour in patients living with chronic disease.
Please provide your input, by June 5th, and share the invitation widely with all health care providers
